Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green has been Cincinnati's most dynamic player this season, posting 63 receptions for 1,031 yards receiving and seven touchdowns. Along with being the team's all-time leading rookie receiver, breaking Cris Collinsworth's mark that's stood for 30 years, Green is the first Cincinnati Bengals rookie to be named to the Pro Bowl since, you guessed it, Cris Collinsworth.

The NFLannounced the AFC and NFC rosters for this year's Pro Bowl with Cincinnati's A.J. Green being the only Bengals player named to the roster. He is the fourth rookie to be named to the Pro Bowl in franchise history, with names like Cris Collinsworth, Isaac Curtis and Lemar Parrish rounding out the very short list. Green is also the first rookie wide receiver to named to the Pro Bowl since Anquan Boldin in 2003.

While Green is the only Bengals player named to the Pro Bowl, Cincinnati has their fair share of alternates.

Quarterback Andy Dalton, defensive tackle Geno Atkins and place kicker Mike Nugent were named first alternates. That means if those on the roster are unable to attend -- which is usually a significant amount every year -- then these guys get the first call up.

Bengals offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth was named as a second alternate. Tight end Jermaine Gresham was named a third alternate with running back Cedric Benson and Defensive tackle Domata Peko named as fifth alternates.
